Chilli Sausage

Summer is almost here and we have just the right meal to go along with your lemonade. Get your hands busy with this quick and easy recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Packet of Artisan Deli Cheddar Smoked Pork Cocktail Sausages
  • 2 Medium-sized Onions
  • 1 Tablespoon Oil
  • 1 Large Green Capsicum 
  • 2 Chopped Green Chilies 
  • 1 Teaspoon Dark Soy Sauce
  •  1 Tablespoon Red Chilli Sauce 
  • 2 Tablespoons Schezwan Chutney 
  • 5-6 Fresh Coriander Spring

Method

  1. Cut onions into small cubes.

  2. Heat oil in a non-stick wok, add onions and sauté till they soften. Cut capsicum into small pieces.

  3. Halve Artisan Deli Cheddar Smoked Pork Cocktail Sausages and make crosswise slits at the two ends without cutting the entire sausage piece.

  4. When the onions begin to caramelize, add green chilies and mix and continue to sauté for a minute. Add capsicum pieces and mix. Add Artisan Deli Cheddar smoked pork cocktail sausages, soy sauce, and red chili sauce and mix well.

  5. Add Schezwan chutney. Chop coriander leaves and mix well.

  6. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot. Don’t burn your tongue in excitement.
